A little bit about us...

The Village Salon & Boutique at Long Valley is a hair and nail salon located in the heart of downtown Long Valley, NJ. With services ranging from haircuts and colors to manicures and pedicures, our knowledgeable stylists will help you look and feel great!

The salon's owner, Laurie DeLamater, has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. Laurie's dream of owning her own business was realized in 1997 when she established The Village Salon & Boutique at Long Valley. Laurie’s creativity, perseverance and dedication to her clients is the reason why her salon and boutique continue to be an iconic and recognizable part of Long Valley's growing business district.

Owner & Stylist

Laurie began her career working at high-end salons in Morris and Hunterdon counties. She refined her skills working on her portfolio with several photographers and at The Make-Up Center in NYC.

Above and beyond the excellent services that her salon provides, Laurie is continuously making an effort to help others. She supports Hope Cuts which raises money for cancer research, Roots & Wings which assists aged-out foster children and has run many races raising awareness for a multitude of causes. She supports town activities and promotes and connects other small businesses.

Stylist

Lora excels at men’s haircutting and colouring. She began her career 24 years ago working for her uncle’s salon in Mendham. She has a cosmetology license, has taken hair cutting courses at Jingles International in New York and Emiliani. Lora is also certified by Coppola as a Keratin Complex Smoothing Technician. Lora has worked at The Village Salon for 5 years.

Stylist

Karen has been in the beauty industry for 20 years, six of which have been at The Village Salon. Karen has taken classes in color correction by Loreal, Jingles hair cutting, Keratin straightening, Redken hair coloring and cutting.
